I have been to the Omelette Parlor in Santa Monica at least 20 times over the last few years.Today's visit there was typical of what the place has been like for the last year.
If you come with a large party, say six people, you may still be seated at a table meant for four on the lovely outdoor patio. The seats and tables are light plastic, and the patio floor is brick. If you have children, keep in mind that there are no high chairs -- only booster seats.
After you've been seated for about 20 minutes, the waiter comes and takes your order. The food comes around 30 to 40 minutes afterwards, usually with no explanation as to why it would take that long.
The food itself is good, although sometimes not all the ingredients are completely cooked.
Today, as an added bonus, the waiter came after me as I left to complain about the tip.
